The Other Side of the City

Published March 7, 2016 by sarahphinn

Sleeping bags wrapped around shivering bodies

Sitting in doorways of the city street.

Eyes gazing at strangers passing by

Praying for a few coins, a drink or a bite to eat.

A parallel world that most of us don’t see.

People who are often scared, hungry and alone

No one person is better than another

Everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home.
